Possibility Place Christian Ministries (PPCM) was founded by Dr. Minnie Washington in the late 1970’s. Their retreat in Detroit MI in 2009 ignited a fire under a few Christians at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church who were eager to serve the Lord. They began to accompany Dr. Washington’s daughter, Rev. Debra Carter to Baltimore for the annual retreat and quickly found ways they could serve.
At the 2018 retreat there was discussion of creating a Detroit Chapter of PPCM and in 2019 the Possibility Place Christian Ministries Detroit Chapter was inducted. Our focus is to follow the words of Ephesians 4:12-16 and equip the saints.

As Christians, we are always pressured
We have ups and downs that seem to be measured.
We’re tested every day of our daily living
Yet it seems when we make a mistake we’re seen as those who are beyond forgiving.
The next time you feel like you’re under a great weight,
Just look to God and he will make sure your path is straight.

But please remember God has not forsaken you,
He is simply giving you a test to push through.
Though it seems the Devil is holding you down,
God is already adding another jewel to your crown.
Remember the battle is not yours,
But the battle is indeed the Lord's.
Crying and pain is always tough,
But you are God's Diamond in the rough.

Please look to God to cure your illusion,
Because God is not a God of confusion.

You get on your knees and you pray,
Yet it seems that the answer takes longer every day.
Don't be discouraged by the delay,
